The implementation is the process in which the transformation of ideals into practice takes place. This building block is a critical one in the preservation of biodiversity and we have to adopt the measures that we have learned from the previous two building blocks to the local situation.

The support from local residents and governments makes the implementation possible. There are two national nature reserves, two provincial nature reserves and one wetland park, which have already been preserved.
Lessons learned
The implementation has been performed cautiously with scientific methods. With the help of experts from Biology, ecotourism, ecological restoration domains, we have monitored and witnessed the implementation of a five-year development plan of the Yancheng Yellow Sea Wetland World Heritage site, ecotourism plan and ecological restoration plan of this area. In addition, we are campaigning for the building of monitoring platform for coastal areas at present, which will be helpful to the task of identifying and counting the number of wild birds and other animals, as well as the changing status of invasive alien species.
