As an independent contractor, my professional interests are related to science-based decision making and the use of decision support tools for the development and implementation of public policies. I am actively involved in multiple initiatives to facilitate policy-relevant applications of conservation planning analyses, as well as integrating and promoting stakeholder/institution engagement towards coastal and ocean sustainability in Brazil.
