In 2016, co-founded Waterpreneurs (www.waterpreneurs.net), a global « for impact » initiative based in Geneva that promotes a world in which water resources management and governance secure human rights and sustainable development to everyone, leaving no one behind. In particular, Waterpreneurs support the scaling-up of impact investments financing the growth of ethical water and sanitation enterprises who are offering responsible services in priority to the underprivileged populations. The global roll-out of the "Innovate 4 Water" marketplace (www.innovate4water.net) series is Waterpreneurs' flagship activity. "Innovate 4 Water" brings together dynamic ecosystems of local in-countries trustworthy entrepreneurs, investors, and enablers who are mainstreaming water and sanitation impactful responsible service delivery projects.
PERSONAL PURPOSE: Striving for a socially and environmentally sustainable world, with preferential attention for the under-privileged people, with the highest concern for security and peace.
EXPERIENCE SUMMARIZED:
• A recognized international change management expert in assessing, connecting and scaling-up sustainable solutions for the WASH sector at a global level.
• Grew-up on a farm in the South of France.
• 35 years in the private sector (Farming, Construction, Electronic, Heat exchangers, Food &Beverage, Consulting) and the not-for-profit sector (board member of SEDEX, pro-bono support to WaterLex and skilled volunteering with the Red Cross), in various functions (sales, finance, is/it projects, industrial performance, human resources, change management, multi-stakeholders partnerships, ethics, human rights, governance, and compliance).
