We reconnect People with Nature

During a journey in the Amazon, we discovered a place where people live in perfect harmony with Nature.
At that time, we understood that this utopia isn't an illusion.
Yet, its reality depends on one unique condition, which is to preserve the extraordinary Planet we live on.
Thus, with the strong belief Life depends on the balance between Nature and People, we thought that, by making-up a movement, we, as people, will succeed to preserve the environment as well as the local cultures and traditions of the Amazon.

Created in the spirit of South America’s nomadic tribes, The Nomad Project is a new ecotourism project on a 237-acre private reserve in the heart of the Colombian Amazon. Between the Amacayacu National Park and the Ramsar site of Lago Tarapoto.

The objective of the project is to create an ecological corridor between three of the main Amazonas ecosystems : Tierra Firme (dry land), Igapó (seasonaly inonded black water rivers and Várzea (seasonaly inonded with water river).

This project will impact conservation in a 1'235'527-acre region in Colombian Amazon, bordering Brazil and Peru, the area is rich in biodiversity — home to 150 species of mammals, 500 species of birds and over 1,000 species of plants.

This project include the integration of the 6000 indigenous people living in the 22 communities of the region.

Two years ago we begin to develop a Waste Management Program with two of the communities. In 2019 we have collected 1500kg of non-organique waste from the region juste with those two community.

We would like to create construction material from this waste in the way to limit logging for constructions.
