Organic Agriculture Centre of Kenya (OACK) is a registered Public Benefit Organization (PBO) focusing on creating sustainable livelihoods and landscapes for the small scale farmers in Murang’a County. This is done by working with the farmers in the areas of food security, environmental conservation and stable income improvement by way of training and information dissemination in order to equip farmers with knowledge and skills on ecological farming particularly organic and bio-dynamic agriculture and conducting on-farms trials on the best practices. This is meant to address the problems of nutritional insecurity, unsafe sprays on food, soil fertility depletion and general environmental degradation. In addition, we work closely with organizations and individuals conducting research in order to generate verified knowledge to be used for development of modern agriculture and sustainability.
