I am a wildlife ecologist with over a decade of experience advancing technological solutions to overcome critical conservation challenges worldwide. In my work with diverse sectors and stakeholders, I have led projects integrating in situ sensor networks (e.g., camera traps, acoustic sensors, eDNA) and AI-driven Big Data processing to drive significant impact in conservation management and global policy.

A key focus of my work is decolonizing the fields of ecology and conservation by supporting local and indigenous research communities. I firmly believe that empowering underrepresented groups generates innovative ideas, novel solutions, and diverse perspectives that engender conservation success. To this end, I have developed and led capacity building programs around the world, equipping participants with essential skills in data collection, processing, and science communication. I specifically focus on training women, individuals from working or marginalized backgrounds, and early career conservationists in developing nations.
