Located just outside of Paris at the confluence of natural, industrial and urban land uses, the 139-hectare course extends an existing large habitat patch and provides diverse, high-quality habitat in addition to the three courses on-site.
The 7,000 data points collected by citizen scientists helped provide a detailed picture of the associations between blue-green infrastructure and ecosystem resilience to anthropogenic stressors.
Citizen scientists were trained to monitor environmental indicators across the study locations allowing the research teams to gather more data than they ever could alone.
