Colette
Massier

Head of Fundraising

I, Colette Massier, started working with the N/a'an ku sê Foundation in Namibia, Africa, in April 2014. My first foray into the world of conservation at the N/a'an ku sê Foundation was working with international film crew utilizing the animals of the N/a'an ku sê Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary for natural history documentaries for educational purposes. The sanctuary acts as a second chance for orphaned, injured and conflict animals, the main focus of the N/a'an ku sê Foundation being to rehabilitate and release back into the wild whenever possible. After a few years working hard in the filming side of things, I then entered the domain of marketing, the eco-tourism endeavours of the N/a'an ku sê Foundation vital to the sustainability of its conservation and humanitarian projects. I then rose through the fundraising ranks, soon clinching the title of head of fundraising. My field of expertise is human-wildlife conflict mitigation, in particular with regards to carnivores.
