I work at Kijabe Environment Volunteers (KENVO) in Kenya. I am Project Manager in CEPF funded Programme at Kikuyu Escarpment Forest called Payment for Water Ecosystem Service (PES) at Kikuyu Escarpment Forests (2016-2019).
Previously I worked with Nature Kenya (Birdlife partner Kenya) as a Project Officer in a large scale GEF UNDP project in Kenya. The project aimed at strengthening the protected area networks in the Eastern Montane forest hotspot of Kenya. Here I was involved in project management.
I have over 15 years of professional experience and has worked on a wide range of Natural resources projects in Kenya. He has extensive experience in Natural resources management especially community conservation, program design and implementation.
For a long period of time I have worked with Kijabe Environment Volunteers (KENVO) in various capacities. Here I participated in a wide range of conservation projects. My main responsibilities at KENVO included coordinating, planning and implementing environmental conservation projects and scientific research work.
I hold Master of Science Degree in management of protected areas and a bachelor’s degree in Forestry.
