A graduate in Agriculture (Eastern Caribbean Institute of Agriculture and Forestry, ECIAF, 1971) with over- 50 years’ experience in agriculture, the engagements have been as an Agricultural Entrepreneur, Agricultural Officer and Consultant in Sustainable Agriculture, Soil and Water Management and farmer practicing sustainable and ecological cropping.
A recent graduate (2016) at age 69 with a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. The dissertation outlined: “A critical assessment of implementing lean management concepts in the post-harvest operations of the cassava industry in Trinidad, West Indies”. Currently completing a dissertation for the Master of Business Management (MBM) in Human Resource Management (HRM) entitled:
“A critical assessment of the positive and negative impacts in hiring 'precarious' workers (contingent, temporary, seasonal) on NAMDEVCO’s certified smallholder family farms in the agricultural sector of Trinidad, WI.”
