Projects Coordinator

Project Coordinator for the AI for Climate Initiative, where she leads two projects. In charge of the AI for Climate Global Forum each year with partners such as the OECD, UNESCO and WWF, an initiative that was recognized at the Paris Peace Forum in 2020. Designed and leading the Tech4Nature initiative, the very first of its kind in the region, focused on strengthening the protection of natural reserves in Mexico through the responsible use of technologies, in close collaboration with the Government of Yucatan, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Huawei, the Polytechnic University of Yucatan and Rainforest Connection. In the past, I've worked in the public sector as the Coordinator of Sustainable Development in Yucatan, contributing to strengthening regional capacities and promoting sustainable primary activities. She received the Transforming Mexico award at a local level from the United Nations.

 

BSc. in Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán and a Masters in Science from the Universidad Marista de Mérida with a focus on Sustainable aquaculture.
