Djibril LY is a young Mauritanian professional working since 2013 in the Banc d'Arguin National Park. He is the head of the "Environmental Monitoring" within the Park Observatory Department. Its missions focus on environmental monitoring as part of the implementation of the park management efficiency dashboard. Djibril is a geographer and holds a Master 2 "Environmental Management and Sustainable Development" at the University of Bordeaux 3 and a Master 2 in "Geography and Spatial Planning, Integrated Management of Coastal Zones" at the University of Nantes. In addition to his professional activities, Djibril has been a member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) since 2013. He is actively engaged in the work of the WCPA Young Professionals Group, particularly in West Africa. and from the center. He is also involved in several conservation initiatives, the most recent being the Coordinator of the Actors Framework for Integrated Mangrove Management in Africa (CAGIMA). This platform of actors is a corporation composed of young researchers, managers, technicians, engineers and curators working on Mangrove conservation issues.
Beyond discovery trips, Djibril is passionate about plastic art (landscaping), design and all digital technologies to create dynamic infographics.
