A development professional, with a doctorate in Forestry and more than 22 years of overall professional experience in conservation-development sector, including design, implementation and evaluation of projects in different regions in India, on thematic issues ranging from coastal and marine protected areas, human-wildlife conflict mitigation and natural resources-based livelihoods to climate change adaptation. I have published international and national peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, technical briefs and reports, extensive capacity development material on coastal marine biodiversity, HWC mitigation and One Health, including the National Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation Strategy and Action Plan of India.
