I have spent over twenty years working in marine conservation in Australia and the Pacific.  I am currently working as the Marine Spatial Planning Team Leader for the Cook Islands. Prior to this I was the Senior Marine Advisor to IUCN Oceania Office supporting marine spatial planning in 5 Pacific Countries.  Before working with IUCN, for ten years I was the Director of the Australian Marine Conservation Society.
