Hi there!

I have been a practicing veterinarian for 15 years, but a One Health "practitioner" for over 25.  I say "practitioner" because back then, there was no such thing- it was something that a) resonated with me since childhood, and b) was something I was exploring, critiquiing and looking at with numerous interactions with people in the field, locally and in the typical knowldge formation circles (ie academia and policy).  I have done work in sub-saharan east Africa, explored some work in Borneo, and in North America.  I am currenty completing a PhD and I am enthused (elated really) to see how the operations and directions of One Health have changed in (in my subjective opinion) in a positive manner - I think mostly spurred by the COVID crisis.  Thank you all for putting this together, and I look forward to engaging with you more in the coming years!
