I am a Pakistan civil servant, currently serving at the highest level of Government of Pakistan.  For two years I was the Secretary  (administrative head) of the Ministry of Climate Change.  In that position I attended numerous conservation and climate conferences and was able to forge networks in the environmental advocacy community.  I successfully led the declearation of Pakistan's first two marine protected areas and was associated, inter alia, with the passage of the INDCs (intended nationally determined contributions) to the UNFCCC, the landmark amendment to the Montreal Protocol,  the National Forest Policy.
