I am an unorthodox economist working in the interplay between innovation, nature conservation and sustainability, particularly in the Global South. I am a full professor at Lund University (Sweden) with over thirty years of experience researching innovative solutions for sustainable development and sustainability transformations worldwide.
Based on solid research, I help policymakers, NGOs and international organizations to design and implement strategies and policies to accelerate and scale sustainability transformations particularly in coastal social-ecological systems.
