I Micah Kamau Ng’ang’a my grandfather died during Mau Mau uprising 1953 who had filed land case where he succeeded in backing his ownership of the land in the year 1937 and me the grand child, I searched for the case order in the year 2014 and the order declared even today 2014 the land belongs to Daudi Karanja.
The land is in Kigumo Sub-County Murang’a County, Mairi village. The land has had financial crisis, and its being constructed illegal shopping centre and grabbers have planted tea plants on the land and the buyer for the tea is Makomboki Tea Factory which is under KTDA. They have been summoned by a court of law not to buy tea harvested but the current Makomboki electoral area Directors have neglected the court orders from supreme court. Shop owners, churches, and people with residential houses have also been compensated and they have denied court orders. Those people occupying the land have been cutting down trees which are sold to Makomboki factory to process tea. I request your organization to protect the land and reduce the pressure for financial crises,
