Nsengimana, Rushemuka

Pascal Rushemuka holds a PhD in soil science and Agronomy of the Liege University, Belgium from 2014 and an MSc in Agronomy and Environment Management of the same university from 2004. He has worked as scientist for 19 years (2002-2021) at the Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB). In RAB his research has focused on regenerative and Climate smart Agriculture with emphasis on the integration of Agroforestry with Conservation Agriculture. Since 2022, he is working as an independent consultant at the junction of Agriculture and Environment. During his career, Dr. Rushemuka has acquired experience in Agriculture and Environment Sectors in the framework of Climate Change. In this context, he is familiar with the international framework such as the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Dr Rushemuka has technically assisted many projects.
