Special Advisor

With extensive experience on interfaces between science, policy, and Indigenous Peoples’ rights, Parnuna Egede Dahl is a Special Advisor at Oceans North Kalaallit Nunaat. She has successfully defended her PhD thesis in October 2024 in collaboration with Aalborg University, Ilisimatusarfik (University of Greenland) and the Inuit Circumpolar Council (ICC) – Greenland. As a former Advisor on Environmental Issues for ICC-Greenland, she has experience with Inuit rights and interests in relation to Greenland, the Arctic Council, European Union, and United Nations. Parnuna holds a masters’ degree in biology with specialty in biological oceanography.
