Ignacio Ortinez is the director at Urban Climate Resilient Infrastructure & Strategic Planning (UCRISP) a registered Non-profit organization. Ignacio Ortinez looks back on more than 30 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, urban planning/design, and sustainable agriculture systems. During those years, he has been working in the United States as well as Europe, and for the last twelve years, he has been based in Southeast Asia. His work focuses on sustainable climate change resilience strategies, such as nature-based solutions for flood and drought mitigation, in urban and rural contexts worldwide. He has collaborated on projects with diverse international institutions, including The Rockefeller Foundation, Asian Development Bank, Global Green Growth Institute, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
