Macharia

My name is John Macharia, currently working for Schools and Colleges Permaculture Programme ( SCOPE) Kenya, as the National Coordinator. SCOPE Kenya, is a network of Civil Society Organizations who promote agro ecology practices in schools.

I have great passion in  promoting and practising organic practices in food production and nature protection, for improved health , livelihoods and biodiversity. In my day to day activities, I work with young people in and out of school, to  equip them with knowldge and skills, to nurture a generation of young people with  capacity  in mobilization and sustainable utilization of resources, to address their social economic and environmental needs without jeopardizing that of future generations.
