Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nida Naycı has graduated from Department of Architecture in Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2001. She completed her M.Arch and Phd degrees in Restoration and Conservation Program of METU. Her field of interests are cultural heritage site management practices in nature-culture linkage, involvement of local communities, participatory planning approaches, and history of architecture. She has been involved in a number of national and international projects regarding conservation and management plans of heritage sites. Professionally, she also conducted conservation and implementation site works and involved in multidisciplinary teams. Recently she works on documentation and conservation of traditional production systems of local communities related with mountain ecosystems and biodiversity.
She continues her academic career as teaching staff in the Department of Architecture in Mersin University since 2010. She is member of ICOMOS-ICAHM (International Committee for Archaeological Site Management) and International Committee of Turkish Chamber of Architects Association.
