I have spent my career creating pathways for societies to transition to sustainable growth using business as a driver for achieving a better future. I am passionate about innovations around impact investing and social enterprise and have experience working with the business sector on biodiversity issues, most recently working on landscape scale conservation and development in Africa. As am part of the cadre of people creating the new generation of business models which have at their core a regenerative relationship with nature and society, I have designed policy frameworks and tools for integration of biodiversity into impact assessments, biodiversity due diligence procedures for business and civil society, and the design and implementation of biodiversity offsets. I have worked with multinational companies and global environmental policy frameworks, and more recently I have been applying this global knowledge in a regional context across Africa where I have built the agriculture and energy strategies and interventions for the African Wildlife Foundation, a pan-African environmental organisation. Currently I am AWF's Program Design Director for Europe.I hold a Masters in Environmental Assessment and Evaluation from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors degree in Economics and English from the University of Michigan.
