Forestry Officer

I hold a B.Sc. in Forest Science from the College of Natural Resources and serve as a Forestry Officer at Jomotsangkha Wildlife Sanctuary. I oversee the Nature Conservation Section and act as the focal person for Green Listing and the Bhutan for Life Project.

I have a keen interest in biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihood solutions, human–wildlife conflict mitigation, and mammal research. I have been involved in various projects, including habitat management, research, social surveys, and awareness programs.

I am also a task force member of Bhutan’s first nationwide Ecosystem Services Valuation of Protected Areas, a certified Gyalsung Instructor in Human–Wildlife Conflict Mitigation, and a certified drone pilot supporting conservation monitoring.
