Sophie is an experienced Conservation Technology leader with a proven track record of successfully developing a diverse range of innovative programmes; covering private, governmental and non-governmental sectors. Sophie has spent 8 years working in conservation technology , prior she spent 15 years in the private technology and digital innovation sector.
Sophie, has lead Connected Conservation Foundation since the charity's inception in 2019. Prior to that, Sophie worked 3 years at the Zoological Society of London, heading up their conservation technology lab, then with UK government on technology accelerators to stop wildlife crime.
Connected Conservation is a leading organisation connecting those in the developing countries with vital tools and infrastructure to help stop nature loss. Forging collaboration across sectors, CCF was invited to the United Nations in 2024 to share lessons on deploying and sustaining conservation technologies, for lasting impact.
