Biologist with a degree from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in Bogotá, Colombia, and is fnishing another degree in Biology at the Universidad INCCA de Colombia. I work for WWF Colombia, focusing on protected area planning and management effectiveness assessments and the implementation of the IUCN Green List Program in Colombia. I have experience in promoting the establishment of private protected areas, working with private landowners in biodiversity conservation and the sustainable use of biological resources. I also have expertise in the biology and conservation ecology of freshwater turtles and I am interested in acoustic communication, conservation strategies, and population ecology of turtles
